SARATOGA SPRINGS - Phillis Maiorella, 79, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at her home in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Phillis is survived by her sisters Sharon Rawitz and Esther Levitt and her sons Brian, Joseph and Michael and was predeceased by her husband Anthony Maiorella and parents Abe Jascha Heifetz and Sylvia Furst.

Phillis often said how blessed she was living near her wonderful neighbors and in the Saratoga combeing munity. She loved outdoors and feeling the sun. Phillis could be found many days tending to her garden. She enjoyed all of the of the tastes and smells of the herbs she grew. Philthe lis was a walker. She would walk to Chabad, Yaddo, public library, the ofpost fice, Temple Sinai, SPAC. Phillis’ greatest love was for her grandchildren MeEmma. lissa, Benjamin, Elijah and

The family would like to thank the staff at Saratoga Community Hospice for helping comfort us and Phillis during her final days.

Phillis bequeathed her body to the Albany MediProgram. cal College Anatomical Gift

A memorial gathering will be held at Temple Sinai 509 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 7pm.
