Cassandra Marie Grolley

WILTON - Cassandra rie Grolley, age 27 of Wilton, NY, left us unexpect edly in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 22, 2017.

She was born in Saratoga Springs on December 13, 1989 to Timothy Grolley (Pinellas Park, Florida) and Sheila Baumgartner (Wil ton, NY).

As a child, Cassandra was shy but devoted to those closest to her. Growing primarily in Schuylerville and Ballston Spa, she loved family trips to Maine and was involved in softball and cheerleading. As she grew up, Cassandra was the family cheerleader in many ways; when family tragedy struck, she would help lead the charge and keep everyone busy and smiling. She grew up as a NY Giants fan, but grew to love the Seattle Seahawks, the music of The Beatles, and more than all else, her incredible son, Lucas, who was her light in a sometimes dark world. She will be remembered for her smile, her laughter, and for her unbelievably quick wit. No one could top a joke” and her one-liners will live on with those she loved forever.

She leaves behind a large immediate and extended family and friends that she loved a great deal and would defend until the end. She is survived by her 8 year old son, Lucas, who will miss her unendingly, her parents; Sheila Baumgartner (Peter Char bonneau) and Timothy Grolley (Melissa), father; Andrew Strainer, grand-parents; Jerry Grol ley (April), Dianne Grol ley, Nancy Fitzgerald, sisters; Alicia Grolley Brisbin (Paul) and Brianne Grolley, brother; Nicholas Strainer, aunt; Tina Grolley, uncles; Frank Perkins and John Baumgartner, cousin; Martinovich and many great aunts, great uncles, and second cousins.
