Library to host theatrical visits for families
The 2017 Summer Reading Program for Children, Teens, and Adults is underway. Signing up is fast and easy and can be done in person or online at www.sspl.org.
Programs for preschoolers include Library Babies, 10:30 a.m. to noon Fridays, July 28 and August 4; Preschool Story/Music, 9:30-10 a.m. Monday; Toddler Storytime, 10:15-10:45 a.m. Monday and 9:30-10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday; Parent/Child Workshop, 10:45 a.m. to noon Monday; Preschool Parachute Play, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday; and Preschool Story/Art, 2-2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Programs for children and families continue with Family Art Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday; Saratoga Shakespeare Company Presents Scenes from Twelfth Night, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday; Paws4Reading with Mika, 10-11 a.m. Wednesday; Paws4Reading with Buck, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday; Hampstead Stage Company Presents Beauty and the Beast, 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday; Fly Fish Tying Demo, noon to 1 p.m. Thursday; Pool Noodle Fun, 10 to 10:55 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4; Registration is not required for any of these programs, with the exception of the Fly Fish Tying Demo.
