BLESSING OF ANIMALS: The Unitarian Universali­st Congregati­on of Saratoga Springs welcomes all pets and their families to its annual “Blessing of Animals” service being held on Sunday, August 6, at 10 a.m. at 624 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs. Jill Perkins, Board Member of H.O.P.E. (Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist) will be the guest speaker. Offerings from this service will be donated to H.O.P.E. and donations of pet food are welcome. This service will include a ritual to remember beloved pets and attendees are encouraged to bring a memento of a pet they have loved and lost.
