Donald Jon Weber

BALLSTON SPA - ald Jon Weber, 71, passed on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Barnwell Nursing and Rehabilita­tion Center in Valatie.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 3, 1945 he was the son of the late Jeannette Elizabeth (Chubb) and John Frederick Weber. He grew up in Lyndhurst, Ohio and graduated from the Charles T. Brush High School in 1963.

Don came to NYS for his undergradu­ate education and graduated from RensAeroa selaer Polytechni­c Institute with a degree in nautical Engineerin­g. He then served proudly as Lieutenant in the US Navy from June 1969 through 1975, working as navigator on Navy planes. Don came back to the Schenectad­y/ Troy area to work and condeEngiy­ears tinue his education, where he earned a master’s gree in Aeronautic­al neering from RPI in 1978. He worked for General Electric for almost 30 as an engineer for MAO and GE, retiring in 2004.

In addition to his parents, he was predecease­d by his beloved in-laws Jean (ElMA der) Clark and Robert C. Clark, and brother-in-law Robert C. Clark ll.

Survivors include his wife Teri L. (Clark) Weber of 40 years, and his treasured children, Darren J. Weber (Lisa) of Watertown, and Katherine J. Weber of Saratoga Springs, NY. He has a much loved sissister-in-laws ter, Mary Jeanne (Chubb) McRoberts brotherand in-law, Paul McRoberts of Anthem, AZ. Don also has a cherished niece, Tracy (McRoberts) Begalke and family of Anthem, AZ. He was fortunate enough to have his Karen (Marcotte) Duell of Corinth, NY and Christine (Clodgo Clark) Higginson (Norman) of Corinth, NY as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7pm Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff, Inc. Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).

Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the SaraMethSp­rings. toga Springs United odist Church, 175 Fifth Ave. at Henning Road, Saratoga

Inurnment with military honors will follow at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylervi­lle.

Dorothy McShane

SAUGERTIES - Dorothy McShane, 91, of Redwood Rd. died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born January 14, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Hanley Durfee.

An area resident since 2015 she previously resided in Malta, NY.

She was president of the Senior Center in Malta for several years where she also voluntaril­y taught osteo exercises. She was an avid golfer and bowler. In her earlier years she taught CCD classes at St. Mary’s in Ballston Spa. Mrs. McShane was a member of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church.

Predecease­d by her husband, Patrick in 1991, survivors include 2 Daughters: Mary Pat (Ray) Van Heusen of Saugerties and Lisa Conklin. 8 Grandchild­ren and 15 Great Grandchild­ren also survive.

She taught our family about sacrificia­l giving, how to love and family unity and support. Our mother, grandmothe­r and great grandmothe­r will be sadly missed. Redeemed through Our Lords’ saving grace we will be reunited in Heaven.

Her Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church in Rhinebeck at 11:00 Sat. Aug. 12 with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Saratoga Springs at 3:30.

Laura Musolff Woller

SEMINOLE, FL - Laura Musolff Woller, 92, of Seminole, FL, passed away on July 15, 2017.

She was born in Amsterdam on March 26, 1925 a daughter of Walter and Loretta Kline and was a 1943 graduate of Wilbur Lynch High School. Laura attended the Amsterdam School of Commerce and later Fulton Montgomery Community College, where she received an Associate of Arts degree.

Mrs. Woller was employed as an executive secretary at Mohasco Industries in Amsterdam and later she worked for the law firm of Campbell and White.

She was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church and sang in its choir. Laura was a member and served as president of the Amsterdam Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Amsterdam Memorial Hospital’s Board of Trustees, and a member of the Board of Lady Managers at the Sara Jane Sanford Home for Elderly Women.

She was an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan and attended many games. She also loved NASCAR.

In addition to her parents, she was predecease­d by her husband, Frederick Woller; two brothers, David and Walter Kline; two sisters, Esther Kline and Mary Payne; and two sonsin-law, Richard Murray and Jeffrey Felton.

Survivors include four daughters, Judith (Sam) English of Perth, Linda Felton of Spring, TX, Diane Murray of Seminole, FL, and Susan (Jon) Simser of Deland, FL; a son, George (Charlene) Musolff of Saratoga Springs; and a stepson, Hank (Missy) Woller of Delmar. She was blessed with eleven grandchild­ren and eight great-grandchild­ren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 10, 2017 at 11 am at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. 111 County Highway 106 (Corner of Route 29 & Black Street) Johnstown with Rev. Judy Humphrey-Fox, officiatin­g. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam.
