Many made Skidmore benefit successful

-

Skidmore College and the Polo by Twilight Event Committee would like to thank all who attended and supported this year’s 38th annual event on July 25, 2017. We were delighted to raise more than $280,000 for the Palamountain Scholarship Fund, funds that enable the best and brightest students to earn a Skidmore education, regardless of need.

We know that those of you who support as honorary chairs, lifetime and honorary committee members, auction donors, corporate sponsors, event attendees, and direct scholarship donors have many other requests for your philanthropy, and we are honored and grateful that you chose our scholarship students as worthy of your support.

The fourth annual Anne T. Palamountain Scholar Award recipient, Amy Bergstraesser ’11, said it well when she remarked, “Skidmore and Saratoga Springs are home, and all of you are family.”

We are also enormously grateful for all of our Polo by Twilight committee volunteers, who each year work so hard to make this event fun for everyone and successful for Skidmore College. We couldn’t accomplish this without the help of many committee members and to them we give our sincere thanks.
