BOCA RATON, FL - Donald Koeppel, 85, passed away with his loving wife Lynn, devoted daughter Amy, son-in-law Jay and grandchildren Nathaniel, Deena, Phillip and Logan by his side on Sunday, September 3, 2017 in Boca Raton, FL. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Koeppel and his sister, Bobbie Lernan. He is survived by his brother, Morton Koeppel of Silver Springs, MD, daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Robert Silverstein and grandchildren Max and Perri of Roslyn, NY.

After graduating from Pace University, NY, Donald began his career as business manager for television and radio personalities Tex McCrary and Jinx Falkenburg. Then, he spent over 30 years as an owner of auto parts business in Mechanicville and Latham, NY. Subsequently, he moved to Florida and enjoyed a successful career as a financial advisor.

Not only was Donald hardworking, but he was devoted to his family. He was a warm and generaous soul whose humor manifested through his story telling.

Donald suffered many illnessess over 20 years but was determined to overcome his challenges. He fought the good fight up until the end.
