Eva Bussey Hogan
QUEENSBURY - Eva C. Bussey Hogan, 92 passed away peacefully on Friday September 8, 2017. Born on July 14, 1925, she was the daughter of Charles Bussey and Anna Farrell Bussey and the loving wife to the late Joseph Hogan, he died in 1996. Eva grew up in Troy, raised her family in Delmar then Newtonville and moved to Wilton in her adult years, most recently residing at the Stanton Nursing Home in Queens- bury for the last 4 years.
Eva worked for New York State Department of Transportation as a payroll clerk for 17 years, retiring in 1987.
Eva is survived by her children Christine GetHozelman (Bob) of Denver, Colorado, Barbara Keville (Greg) of Troy, Joseph gan (Lisa) of Gansevoort and Mary Ellen Benham (Kirk) of Saugerties, her grandchildren Matthew Getzelman, Sarah MagnatKevgrandchildren. ta, Katie Ewing, Eric ille, Jason Keville, Daniel Hogan and her eight great
Eva was predeceased by her siblings Robert Bussey, Dottie Doody and Mary Lalley.
She joins her loving band as well as lifelong friends Ron and Lady, her brother, sisters, brother in law Chuck and sister in law Mary Brinkman for their eternal party in heaven.
Eva’s family wishes to thank the staff at the Stancare ton Nursing Home for all the compassionate they provided to Eva these last 4 years.
