ALBANY, N.Y. » The University at Albany football team returned to the Top 25 rankings Monday, coming in at No. 19 in the STATS Poll and No. 22 in Coaches Poll.

UAlbany (3-1, 1-0 Colonial Athletic Associatio­n) is coming off a 19-10 overtime win over Villanova, which last week was ranked No. 7 in the STATS Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll. The win was UAlbany’s first over a Football Championsh­ip Subdivisio­n Top 10 opponent.

UAlbany is ranked for the first time since the preseason, when it was No. 24 in the FCS poll, though the Great Danes had been receiving votes each of the past two weeks. The program’s highest ranking in the STATS poll was No. 16 after starting the 2016 season with four straight wins.

Elon (3-1, 1-0 CAA), UAlbany’s opponent on the road this coming Saturday, is ranked No. 23 in the STATS Poll and receiv-

ing votes in the Coaches Poll after a 36-33 win over Richmond. It’s the first national ranking for the Phoenix since 2010.

Six CAA teams are ranked in the STATS poll. That ties with the Missouri Valley Conference for the most of any league. Brothers in a Suburban Council win. SHAKER 4, COLUMBIA 0 » Shaker took the lead when Ryan Watson crossed the ball to Demani Johnson who headed it in. It was 1-0 at halftime, and Columbia pressed the first few minutes of the second half. Shaker got a second goal on a counter when Ian Wu fed Jack Acquario. Ian Wu then converted a penalty and Hassan Alfadhil fed Greg Hale for the final goal of the game.
