Holiday program aims to reconnect kids with nature
The Saratoga Springs Public Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday in observance of Columbus Day, featuring a program, Reconnecting Children with Nature, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Other programs for children and families include Saturday Family Storytime, 11:30 a.m. to noon Saturday; Paws4Reading with Buck, 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Paws4Reading with Quinn, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday; Bizarre Science, Part Trois, 4:15-5:15 p.m. Tuesday; Multicultural Stories and Crafts for K-2, 6:30-7 p.m. Tuesday; and PJ Family Storytime, 6:30-7 p.m. Thursday. Programs for preschoolers include Library Babies, 10:30 to noon Fridays, Oct. 6 and 13, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday. No registration is required.
