BALLSTON SPA - The Miranda resa Pastore Miranda, 99, passed away October 30, 2017 at Wesley Health Care Center.

Born on July 7, 1918 in Ballston Spa, she was a lifelong resident and daughter of the late Ralph and Antoinetta (Falciano) Pastore. A graduate of Ballston Spa High School, Theresa attended Albany Business College where she met the love of her life and husband, Joseph Miranda, Sr. She worked as a secretary at GE and then became a homemaker after marry- ing. She also worked as a secretary for her brother, Dr. Lucien Pastore, for many years.

Theresa was a communican­t of St. Mary’s Catho and lic Church and an active member of Ballston Area Seniors. Her family and friends called her “Tres” or “Terrie.” She was a devoted caregiver and the heart of her family, caring for all of her grandchild­ren, as well as for her mother, brother, and Cathoand husband after each suf-ffered a stroke. She enjoyed spending time with her family most and especially cooking for them. Hosting pasta dinner every Sunday for her family was one of her greatest joys. She also enjoyed talking with her siblings every day and weekly visits from many close relatives, as well as spending time at the family camp on Saratoga Lake. When her husband retired, they enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy where they both had relatives.

In addition to her parJ. ents, she was predecease­d by her husband, Joseph Miranda Sr.; two brothers, Dr. Lucien Pastore and Paul Pastore; and three sisters, Rose Miranda, Irene Schallehen, and Florence Fountaine. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Cutbush (Steve Hutchins) and son, Joseph J. Miranda Jr. (Pam); grandchild­ren, Andrea Stewart (Craig), Billy Miranda (Denise), Joey Miranda, Lisa Brassard (PJ), Tom Cutbush (Sara Fox) and Zack Hutchins (Kate) and six great-greatgrand­children.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa on Saturday November 4th where a mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday November 3rd at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa.
