David Lloyd Brown

GREENFIELD CENTER – David Lloyd Brown, 53, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, in the arms of his loving wife Vickie and surrounded by his family.

Born on Sept. 18, 1964, he was the son of Carol Le Tendre Baer of Greenfield Center and the late Lloyd N. Brown of Taborton, NY. David was a steel worker/ welder, having worked at Couse & Sons in Ballston Spa. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping, hiking, and most of all, time spent with his family and beloved dogs.

Survivors include his soulmate and wife Vickie; his cherished dogs Tasha and Sierra; his mother Carol; sister Lisa Brown (Bob) of Stillwater and brother Matthew Brown (Laura) of Scotia; sister-in-laws Kathi Vincek of Saratoga Springs and Valerie Baker of Porter Corners; brother-in-law Kim Schyberg (Carole) of Porter Corners and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8pm Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Sara-toga Springs (518-584.- 5373).

Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Satur-day, Nov. 4, at the funeral home. All are welcome to join the family for a Inn-cheon at the Holiday Inn on Broadway immediatel­y following.

Burial will be private at the convenienc­e of the family.

Donald A. Chandler

PORTER CORNERS Donald A. Chandler, 77, of Allen Road, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 17, 1940 in Corinth, he was the son of the late Ernest and Dora (Aldous) Chandler.

Don attended Saratoga Springs Schools.

He married Pearl L. man on Feb. 20, 1960 in Corinth. The couple has resided on Allen Road for over 50 years.

Don was employed at the Internatio­nal Paper Co. in Corinth for four years and then worked at Southworth Machinery in Menands as a mechanic for four years.

He then worked as self employed logger, owning and operating Don Chan dler Logging and ing of Porter Corners for many years. In 1986 he was named NY State Timber Harvester of the Year. During his later years, he worked in scrap metal.

Don was a member of the Victory Bible Baptist Church for many years, serving as a trustee for several years. He also was a proud member of the National Rifle Associatio­n.

He enjoyed working, spending time with his family and helping anyone in need, always thinking of others before himself.

Besides his parents, he was also predecease­d by five brothers, Ernest, Harold, Earl, Eugene, and Lloyd Chandler; and eight sisters, Rose, Norma, Agnes, Elnora, Eldora, Geneva, Jeanette and Emma.

Survivors besides his ing wife of 57 years include three children, Louisa Barss (James) of Porter Corners, Michael Chandler (Deidre) of Porter Corners, and Kevin Chandler ( Jacqulyn) of Porter Corners; three siblings, Gladys Smead of Corinth, Preston Chandler (Suzanne) of Hadley and David Chandler (Cathy) of Herkimer; eight grandchild­ren, Carrie, Corey, Thomas, Timothy, Kayla, Sam, Kristin, and Jonathan; 11 great-grandchild­ren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at the Victory Bible Baptist Church, 4532 Rt. 9N, Porter Corners with the Rev. Dexter Taylor, pastor, officiatin­g. Following the service, a reception will be held at the church.

Private burial will be at Corinth Rural Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3rd, at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.

The family wishes to thank the Wilton EMS, the Greenfield Fire District, the staff at Saratoga Hospital and the staff of the Neruo ICU at Albany Medical Center for the kindness and care given to Don during his illness.

Eric M. Reynolds

GLOVERSVIL­LE - Eric M. Reynolds, 48 of B Street, Gloversvil­le died at home on Friday October 27, 2017.

He was born in ville, FL on November 5, 1968 a son of Gary and Sarah Baldwin Reynolds and moved to Stillwater as a child. Eric was a 1987 graduate of Saratoga High School and attended Schenectad­y County Community College. He moved to Gloversvil­le eleven years ago. He was employed at Quad Graphics in Saratoga and later worked at Baronet Litho in Johnstown as a printing press operator. Eric was a veteran of the US Navy. He was predecease­d by his mother, Sarah. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Mulvena Reynolds, whom he mar-ried on June 24, 2000; his children, David and Kaylae Reynolds, and Cody and Breanna Reynolds, both of Gloversvil­le; his father, Gary Reynolds of Ballston Spa; a sister, Deborah "Sue" Reynolds of Glens Falls; his in-laws, Mark and Pat Mulvena of Providence and Amy Finley of Galway; a nephew, Xavier Frasier; two nieces, Sarah and Mi-chaela Reynolds; a great-nephew, Avery; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cremation was performed at Park View Crematoriu­m, Schenectad­y. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts are by the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc., Johnstown.

Marguerite E. Clancy

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Marguerite E. Clancy slipped away peacefully from her home on 10/29/17 with loving family at her side. Marguerite was born in Saratoga Springs, NY to Etta (Scoltock) and Harry Clancy on 10/31/1921. She took delight in her Halloween birthday and would have been 96. Marguerite graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1939 and was employed in the office of the Saratoga Vichy Com-pany for over 45 years. She was a long-time communi-cant of Bethesda Episcopal Church. Marguerite had an artistic soul that she ex-pressed through painting, ceramics and many types of needlework including knitting, crochet, needle-point, and embroidery. Her loved ones continue to be warmed by her sweaters and afghans. She also loved bowling. In addition to her participat­ion in many leagues, she often served as the secretary and trea-surer, keeping meticulous records. Marguerite was an avid reader, and loved to travel. Some of her desti-nations included Jamaica, Scotland, Switzerlan­d and Alaska. Marguerite also loved animals and was happiest with a cat on her lap and a dog by her side. Marguerite (Aunt Mimi) is survived by her niec-es, Marguerite (Richard) Massey of Billerica, Mass., Shelley (Randy More-house) Murphy of South Glens Falls, NY, Linda (Larry) Blue of Lenoir City, Suzanne Sheehan of Cohoes, NY, Marguerite (Roger Corriveau) Clancy of South Hadley, Mass and Michael Clancy of South Hadley. She is also sur-vived by her sister in law, Constance Clancy of South Hadley, Mass. She leaves behind 11 grand nieces and nephews, Amanda (Matt) Lee of Burlington, Mass., Carolyn Massey of Bill-erica, Mass., Sam Murphy of Saratoga Springs, NY, Megan (Monroe) John-son of Conway, SC, Rachel (Randall) Home of Marsh-vile, NC, Hunter Blue of Lenoir City, Tenn., Karissa Sheehan Clairmont and Devin Sheehan of Cohoes, NY, Aaron (Jessica)Soule of Andrews AFB, Maryland and Sean and Liam Clancy of Rowe, Mass and 5 great grand nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her sister and brother in law, Etta Marie (Clancy) and Arthur C. DeGarmo of Cohoes, NY and by her brother, Robert Clancy of South Hadley, Mass. At Marguerite's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Gum Spring Cemetery, Wilton, NY. The family wishes to ex-press its gratitude to Community Hospice of Saratoga for their loving care and support during Mimi's final weeks.
