IN HER SHOES: “In Her Shoes,” a nationally-acclaimed program illustrati­ng the challenges victims or survivors of domestic abuse face in getting help in their communitie­s, will be presented Friday, November 17 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Unitarian Universali­st Church on Weeks Road, Queensbury. Each participan­t moves through a series of decision points based on the lived experience of victims and survivors of partner abuse. The evening includes light refreshmen­ts and a discussion for participan­ts to share insights. Family and friends, as well as those who work with victims of abuse and those interested in this social justice issue, are invited to attend this free program. NATIONAL MUSEUM OF RACING: The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will be offering free admission each Friday from 2 p.m. to close through the end of the year.
