SARATOGA SPRINGS - Shane lived a difficult life and faced a lot of challenges, a lot of heartache and struggles. Thankfully, in the end with the help of St. Josephs Rehab Saranac Lake, Shane’s life was turned around. He was a happy, content, clean loving kind gentle soul. He married a beautiful woman, Florencia, from Argentina, on October 28, 2017. Shane had a loving supportive family beside him. Shane was a pro snowboarder, skateboarder, and he loved singing songs with Florencia. He was just a fun loving young man. He loved pizza, ketchup, mini wheats, pastries from Price Chopper, vaping, seltzer, and Death Wish Coffee. Shane loved cheering for his little sister Ryleigh at Saratoga Catholic basketball games. He always had unconditional love and support for his sister Shannon. Shane always had her back. This is a sudden death. Shane was not ready to go on December 20th, 2017. He had so much life to live. Unfortunately, heroin addiction took my one and only son, Shane, who I will love and miss forever. Peace. He is survived by his loving and beautiful wife Florencia, their dog Doctor Bailey, his mother Christina Burns, Step-Father Jim Burns, sister Shannon, little sister Ryleigh, his Aunt Karen and Uncle Teddy, several cousins, and many friends.
