SENIOR ACTION COUNCIL: The Saratoga Chapter of New York State Wide Senior Action Council will be meeting on Thursday, January 18, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Christ Community Reformed Church, 1010 Route 146, Clifton Park. BENEFIT SPAGHETTI DINNER: In June 2017, Danny MacMillan, a 12 year old from Schuylervi­lle, was diagnosed with E-Wing Sarcoma Cancer. After chemothera­py, surgery and further testing doctors discovered cancer cells in the muscle tissue and decided it would be best to amputate the leg. The surgery, scheduled for January 2, will be followed by more chemothera­py and eventually a prosthetic leg. A spaghetti dinner to benefit Danny will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at Schylervil­le Elementary School Cafeteria. Tickets will be $10 per adult, $5 for children 4-13 years old and children under 4 free. Dinner will include spaghetti, salad, bread, drinks and desserts, take out also available. We will also have raffles and a 50⁄50 drawing.
