More snow hitting region today

ALBANY, N.Y. » A winter weather advisory is in effect from until 8 p.m. tonight, according to the National Weather Service, as snow was expected to blanket the region.

The advisory includes the Capital Region and the Lake George Saratoga Region, with accumulations of 3 to 7 inches forecast. Wednesday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
