CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. » Active lifestyle restaurant CoreLife Eatery is set to open its newest location in Clifton Park.

Offering a variety of greens, grains and brothbased dishes, CoreLife Eatery is scheduled to open its doors for the first time at 11 a.m. on Thursday at its brand new 11 Clifton Country Rd. location.

This opening is part of the upstate company’s expansion plan to expand to 300 locations, including both corporate and franchise restaurants, nationwide over the next five years.

The Clifton Park site will be CoreLife Eatery’s 11th New York state location, just a few hours away from its original Syracuse restaurant, which opened in May 2015.

CoreLife Eatery aims to bring together scratch cooking with flavorful source ingredients and a fast, casual service line for a healthy and affordable eating alternative.

The eatery offers a wide variety of fresh ingredients that are transformed into custom-created dishes. All foods are free of trans fats, artificial colors, sweeteners, other artificial additives and GMOs. The chicken and steak used are sustainably raised and never given antibiotics or hormones, and the bone broth is slow simmered all day for maximum taste and nutrition.

“There’s widespread belief that healthy food can’t possibly taste good. We’re debunking that myth,” Todd Mansfield, partner and wellness champion for CoreLife Eatery, said in a press release. “We have a unique menu made entirely from fresh, simple, high quality ingredients that taste fantastic and our customers want to eat. We can’t wait for the community in Clifton Park to experience CoreLife Eatery for the first time.”

CoreLife Eatery strives to promote active lifestyle activities by offering and participating in a number of health-related events in the community. CoreLife Eatery staff members are proactively sharing their food concepts as well as wellness ideals through talks at local organizations and participation in community events, the release said.

“CoreLife Eatery is more than a brand –our food is a key part of our customers’ active lifestyles,” Scott Davis, president and chief concept officer of CoreLife Eatery, said in the release. “We’re making it easy, convenient and affordable to eat clean, without sacrificing flavor.”

During his tenure as
