Psychologi­st and author Claudia Coenen confronted this question head-on when she unexpected­ly lost her husband. Pouring her grief first into creative outlets such as writing, visual art, and dance, she then turned to humanistic psychology and developed methods to deal with the trauma of personal loss. All Lioness Members are welcome to attend and share their ideas. KARNER BLUE BUTTERFLY WALK: The endangered Karner blue butterfly has two broods every summer. The first brood should emerge late in May and the second in early July. Take a look on the Old Gick Farm Trail for adults that are searching for nectar and mates in the open meadows. The 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. walks will be cancelled if it is raining. Each walk lasts for about an hour. Please park in the lot by the Saratoga Sandplains Sign on Route 50 half a mile north of King Road.
