WINE TASTING FUNDRAISER:
The Friends of the Galway Public Library will host a Wine Tasting on Tuesday, June 5 at the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant in Galway. The event extends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with dozens of domestic and imported wines. The theme is “Summer Sippers”. Wine authorities will both pour and describe the wines to attendees. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served. For those wishing a non-wine refreshment, free bottled water will be provided. Tickets are limited to 150 and are available for $30 at the door. Tickets can also be purchased in advance at the Galway Public library (www.galwaypubliclibrary.org) in Galway.
