Plenty of cultural delights in region this year
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » If ever “too much of a good thing” was applicable, it is our region during the summer. Besides all the wonderful natural attractions - lakes, rivers and mountains – there are abundant cultural delights to be enjoyed and savored as well.
The area abounds with theater, classical music, opera, dance and art. Pop music is everywhere.
Best of all, most is affordable. And, a lot is actually free. Almost every community offers free outdoor music concerts. Places like Park Playhouse in Albany and Saratoga Shakespeare offer classical drama free in Albany. There are the same inexpensive opportunities for dance, art and festivals. We have much for which to be grateful.
It’s summer. Enjoy.
