1 What is Eat, Drink Saratoga?

Eat drink Saratoga is a celebration of Saratoga’s culinary community. The festival is a way to show how many great restaurants really shine in our city. The event will also highlight the regional craftsmanship of New York state breweries, distilleries, cideries and wine makers. The June 30th festival will take place in the heart of downtown Saratoga in the Saratogian lot at 20 Lake Avenue. I truly feel this is an opportunity that locals and visitors to the area do not want to miss. Plus, any chance to raise money for children in our area is always a great reason to come out. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Saratoga County Children’s Committee.

2 What sets this food festival apart from others in the area?

I am proud to say that we have truly gathered some of the best restaurants Saratoga has to offer in one place alongside the region’s best breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cider makers. The fact that we are doing this in the heart of downtown really sets us apart from other events. Attendees will be able to enjoy the backdrop of our beautiful city and experience the true spirit of Saratoga’s great community.

3 What can people expect at Eat, Drink Saratoga in its inaugural year?

Attendees can expect to see the skilled chefs of Saratoga showcase their unique talents and the styles they have developed at each of their restaurants. We didn’t set any criteria on what they should offer. We really wanted them to run with their creativity and come up with unique and special dishes. Event-goers can also expect to sample some wonderful artisanal libations while hanging out to ambient funk and soul under the summer sky right in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs!

4 A portion of the proceeds benefit the Saratoga County Children’s Committee, what makes them such a great partner for this event?

The Saratoga County Children’s Committee has been working hard to benefit the children in Saratoga County for years. I greatly respect the work they do at this charity. When I was creating this event, I knew I wanted a hyper local charity so that the money raised could make an immediate and definitive impact on our community. I really want them to get the recognition they deserve for helping so many children year-round in schools and social ser-

community. I really want them to get the recognition they deserve for helping so many children year-round in schools and social services throughout Saratoga County. They are a nonprofit with volunteers who go above and beyond. Helping children they’ve never even met is so admirable and they are really making a difference. You will see them helping volunteer at the event on June 30, too. 5 How can people buy tickets and find out more information about Eat, Drink Saratoga? Everything is on the website, www.eatdrinksaratoga.com, and if they have any questions they can email me at info@eatdrinksaratoga.com. We hope to see everyone there on June 30.
