BARK, BREW & TATTOO: Join Saratoga Adventures at Bark, Brew & Tattoo on Saturday, June 16, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Saratoga City Center to stand in solidarity for every misunderst­ood Pit Bull, each kindhearte­d Bulldog, and all the Bully breeds whose false reputation­s should no longer precede them. Organizers’ mission is to educate the public about the kindhearte­d nature of our Bully friends while raising money for local animal shelters and NEADS World Class Service Dogs, an organizati­on which provides service dogs for veterans at no cost. KARNER BLUE BUTTERFLY WALK: The endangered Karner blue butterfly has two broods every summer. The first brood should emerge late in May and the second in early July. Take a look on the Old Gick Farm Trail for adults that are searching for nectar and mates in the open meadows. The 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. walks will be cancelled if it is raining.
