PrimeLending opens new office in Saratoga Springs
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.» Home loan company PrimeLending is now located in the Spa City after a recent relocation from southern Saratoga County.
After six years operating in Clifton Park, PrimeLending moved to 92 Congress St., Suite 201, right behind the Embassy Suites hotel in Saratoga Springs.
“Everybody wanted to come to Saratoga,” said brand manager John Kane at a ribbon cutting event last week celebrating the new office’s grand opening.
The local branch originally opened in 2011 as the first PrimeLending location in the state. “We opened up in Clifton Park at the time, always with the dream of being in Saratoga,” Kane said.
“The goal was to eventually move our branch to Saratoga,” Kane continued, “The majority of our business is right here in Saratoga.”
Now that this goal has been achieved, PrimeLending is closer and more convenient for many clients, as well as employees.
More than a dozen employees work from the Saratoga Springs office.
The 35-year-old nationwide company, one of the top 10 of its kind in the country, strictly works in the residential sector with a motto of “home loans made simple.”
Headquartered in Dallas, PrimeLending expanded into New York state with the Clifton Park location in 2011. “We’ve come a long way since 2011 when we had no presence in New York at all,” Kane said. Now the company has a total of 10 throughout the state, a handful of which are managed by Kane.
“We started out with just a few people, and we closed 1,200 loans last year,” he said of his entire footprint.
With a newly set record of 180 monthly loans closed, Kane is aiming to increase the yearly total to 2,000 loans from his branches combined, he said, “and we’re on pace.”
Grateful for the opportunity to be in Saratoga Springs and looking ahead to the future, Kane said, “We’re on the grow.”
The new Saratoga Springs PrimeLending location is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by appointment.
