BALLSTON SPA FARMERS’ MARKET:
The Ballston Spa Farmers’ Market, sponsored by the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association (BSBPA), resumes Saturday, June 16 and and runs Thursdays from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon through September 29 in Wiswall Park, at the corner of Front Street and Low Street. The market features 100% locally grown produce, farm fresh agricultural products, flowers, herbs, baked goods, custom blended spices, dressings, marinades, handcrafted jewelry, and more. Preschool Naturalists (11 a.m.) is an hour-long nature class designed for children ages 3-5 that focuses on using all five senses to explore aspects of the outdoor world. KOREAN WAR VETERANS:
Ch. 60, Korean War Veterans Assoc., will hold their June luncheon at The Peppermill Restaurant in South Glens Falls, at noon on Thursday, June 21. Diners will order off the menu. RECOVERY ADVOCACY:
Recovery Advocacy in Saratoga (RAIS) will be meeting on Thursday, June 21, at 7 p.m. at the Healing Springs Recovery Community and Outreach Center, 125 High Rock Avenue Saratoga Springs. Captain Daniel Morley of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department will be speaking about the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Dept. practice of following up with individuals who have been seen at local emergency rooms or been treated by first responders, for drug overdoses, to offer assistance in obtaining help with their addictions. Refreshments will be provided.

VERY GRAVE INDEED:
Join the Saratoga Springs History Museum on Thursday, June 21, at 7 p.m. in the Canfield Casino in Congress Park for “Very Grave Indeed.” The lecture by Brookside Museum Director of Education Anne Clothier is the first program
of the 2018 Alfred Z. Solomon Charitable Trust Program Series. This program will cover some fascinating topics that aren’t found in most history books: causes of death; funeral, mourning and burial practices, and information about how to safely and respectfully explore cemeteries. SARATOGA WALKING TOURS: The Saratoga Heritage Area Visitor Center’s popular 90-minute “History, Legends, Lore and More” walking tour celebrates Saratoga’s Victorian era and the classic Victorian stroll. Stroll through Congress Park, take the waters and hear the stories of our most colorful characters, beloved monuments and treasured artwork.
