SARATOGA SPRINGS - Marjory Ann Matthews, of Saratoga Springs, New York, born in 1947 in Troy, New York, to Mary Jannicelli and the late Thomas Matthews, passed away at age 71 on June 27, 2018 in Saratoga Springs, New York. Marjory graduated from Shaker High School and Suny Oswego. She was a retiree of New York State. Marjory is survived by her mother, Mary Jannicelli; her brother, Gerald Jannicelli (Jeri); and nieces, Hannah Westmont (Gordon) and niece, Corey Jannicelli. Marjory was a stained glass and polymer clay artist. She enjoyed selling her artwork at craft fairs and giving as gifts to family and friends. She was a devoted Aunt and used her artistic talents to create lasting gifts to mark the milestones in Hannah and Corey’s lives. Marjory enjoyed all things Harry Potter and watching sports, especially the Tour de France. A special thanks to the caring staff of Saratoga Hospital, Gentiva Health Services and her kind neighbors at Williamsbu­rg Court. A private service for the family will be held in August.
