Porter Corners Marlene A. Porter, 64, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born October 2, 1953 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Milan and Susanna (Halgash) Belon. Marlene was a graduate of Newtown High School in New York City. She worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician as well as in the kitchen at Skidmore College and more recently for Stewart’s Corporatio­n. For the past few years she was a homemaker, enjoying her time with family. Marlene was a fan of the New York Yankees and, in her younger years, she worked at Shea Stadium where she also saw The Beatles perform. She enjoyed playing lottery scratch off tickets and watched “Days of our Lives” regularly. In addition to her parents, she is predecease­d by her brothers, Milan and Ronald Belon and her sister, Frances Lombardi. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Earl Porter of Porter Corners; her children, Kristy Roberts and her husband, John, Jr. of Corinth and Justin Porter and his wife, Joanna of Rutland, VT; her grandson, Rory Porter of Rutland, VT; a brother, Robert Belon and his wife, Judy of Queens, NY and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 25 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High St., Ballston Spa. Burial will follow at Middle Grove Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, July 24 at the funeral home.
