BUTTERFLY WALK: Summer is a time of fun in the sun, but it’s also a prime time to spot beautiful butterflie­s in flight. Take an educationa­l walk through the Karner management area to learn more about the federally endangered Karner blue butterfly and statethrea­tened frosted elfin, their ecology and relationsh­ip to wild lupine, as well as how the butterflie­s and their habitat are monitored and managed. Meet at 11 a.m. at the entrance of the Saratoga Spa Dog Park, located at the corner of S Broadway and Crescent Street in Saratoga Springs.
