Nine charged after sting
State police conduct operation
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. » A prostitution sting led to the arrest of nine people, state police say.
Troopers in Clifton Park said they, along with the assistance of the Commu- nity Narcot- ics Enforce- ment Team and Electronic Surveillance Unit, conducted a prostitution sting recently that led to the arrest of 8 males for patronizing a prostitute and 1 female for prostitution.
The sting operation involved officials setting up pre-arranged meeting dates, times and locations within the Clifton Park area via social media platforms, police said.
Police said those arrested were:
• Akram H. Al Nababteh, 40, of Clifton Park, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Gregory V. Alcaro, 31, of Plantation, Fla., was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Jason G. Ferrand, 35, of Cohoes, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Timothy P. Voell, 52, of Tivoli, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Zachary J. Hessney, 35, of Clifton Park, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Christopher J. Savaria, 49, Cohoes, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Christopher J. Spratt, 41, of Gansevoort, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
• Tykesha M. Draughn, 37, of New Haven, Conn., was charged with prostitution and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• Franklin R. Criscione, 36, of Loudonville, was charged with patronizing a prostitute, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
All were released with an appearance ticket, and are set to appear again in the Town Court.
