FREEDOM MACHINES RIDE: 64 and 31 mile bike rides will be held Sunday, July 29, starting at the Saratoga Wilton Elks Lodge #161, 1 Elks Lane, Saratoga Springs. Registrati­on 6 a.m., rides start at 7 a.m. Pre-register at bikereg.com. The 64 mile ride is $75 before July 25, $85 after; the 31 mile ride is $40 before July 25, $50 after. Team ride registrati­on for 8-12 people is $650. Family Fun Walk/Ride, $30 per family. GRANT COTTAGE: Engaging storytelle­r Gloria May will explain how Winsor Brown French’s accomplish­ments are still part of Saratoga today and what part he played in Grant’s funeral on Mount McGregor on August 4, 1885. CLASS: The National Museum of Dance, in partnershi­p with Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), will welcome Trinity Irish Dance Company for a Master Class in the Lewis A. Swyer School of the Arts on Sunday, July 29, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The class led by three Trinity Irish Dance Company members is open to dancers age 8 to adult. The cost is $25 per dancer.
