DRAGON BOAT RACING: The Town of Waterford’s Harbor Visitor Center at 1 Tugboat Alley in Waterford will host its first annual Dragon Boat Race beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 18. The Town is partnering with the American Cancer Society to benefit the fight againstbreast cancer. Races feature teams of 21 paddlers in 40 foot dragon boats competing against one another in 300 meter races. GREENTREE STABLE TOUR: The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will present special a behind-the-scenes tour of Godolphin’s famous Greentree Stable on Saturday, August 18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The magnificent 106-acre property at 36 Nelson Avenue is the private training facility owned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
