CAMP SARATOGA 5K FUN RUN:
The Saratoga Stryders host a series of five fun runs on wooded trails at the beautiful 310 acre parcel. The race series is open to all ages and abilities, run one race or all five. A raffle is held at the end of each race with many prizes awarded. Registration is $5 per race at the door starting at 5:30 p.m. Races begin at 6:15 p.m. sharp - rain or shine. There are no water stops on the course, but water is available at the finish. Proceeds benefit the Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park other local non-profits. BUTTERFLY WALK: Summer is a time of fun in the sun, but it’s also a prime time to spot beautiful butterflies in flight. Take an educational walk through the Karner management area to learn more about the federally endangered Karner blue butterfly and statethreatened frosted elfin, their ecology and relationship to wild lupine, as well as how the butterflies and their habitat are monitored and managed.
