5th annual Trivia Night fundraiser set for Friday
Event to benefit Friends of the New York State Military Museum and Saratoga-Wilton Elks
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The fifth annual Trivia Night to benefit Friends of the New York State Military Museum and Saratoga-Wilton Elks is this Friday at Elks Lodge 161, located at 1 Elks Lane off Route 9, in Saratoga Springs.
The program will start at 5 p.m. with a social hour featuring a cash bar and 50/50 raffle. A prime rib dinner will follow for those who have reservations and have formed teams. The cost is $50. Tickets are available at the door, but this does not include dinner.
John Gelheiser of Luny-Tunz will serve as program emcee and question caller. Contestants include employees of local businesses such as The Adirondack
Trust Company and Stewart’s Shops Corporation.
The winner will receive the Trivia trophy and a choice of many prizes such as passes to the Saratoga National Golf Club and an assortment of fine wines from Kane’s Fine Wine and Spirits. Prizes will also include other awards from many local businesses and gift certificates from area restaurants including The Olde Bryan Inn and Longfellows.
The funds raised will be devoted to the Elks Veterans Committee for assisting local veterans and the Military Museum’s procurement of artifacts and the director’s programs.
