FIVE QUESTIONS
Five Questions with Darryl Leggieri: Darryl is the President of Discover Saratoga. 1 . What does Discover Saratoga’s annual Restaurant Week have to offer?
Discover Saratoga’s Annual Restaurant Week offers prix fixe menus from 50 different restaurants throughout Saratoga County. Event-goers can get lunch for $10 and dinner for just $20 or $30 plus tax and tip. Hotels are also offering exclusive discounts during Restaurant Week, so we encourage you to plan the whole weekend in Saratoga! 2 . What is the purpose of this event? Restaurant Week is the perfect reason to try a new restaurant in Saratoga or come back to one of your favorites! The event also encourages people who are not familiar with the area to see what this beautiful destination has to offer outside of the summer months. Saratoga has such an exciting dining scene and we’re excited share that with the whole region! 3 . Restaurant Week has a new date this year, why was it moved up?
Some restaurants have expressed that the old dates conflicted with holiday parties and events. We wanted to ensure everyone can participate for an even better Restaurant Week celebration. 4 . The event also coincides with the launch of the Toys For Toga drive. How can people help with that during Restaurant Week?
We encourage event-goers to bring a new and unwrapped toy with them while dining. Many of the participating restaurants are also Toys for Toga drop off locations. Some restaurants are even donating a $1 per meal to the charity! 5 . Does Discover Saratoga have any other fun events scheduled for the future?
Absolutely! Saratoga’s Annual Chowderfest is coming up on February 2nd for its 21st anniversary. Keep an eye out for updates on discoversaratoga.org/chowderfest!
