SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> Local business Old World Naturals is introducing its newest collection of all-natural craft delicatessen.

Old World Naturals, part of the Troy-based fourth generation Old World Provisions delicatessen company, is the Capital District’s own source for grassfed, all-natural deli meat.

Following a launch event on Wednesday at the company’s Old World Productions location in downtown Saratoga Springs, Old World Naturals is now available at Healthy Living Market in Wilton Mall.

Deli meats like oven-roasted turkey breast, hickory smokehouse uncured ham, deli roast beef, slow-cooked uncured corned beef, brick-oven uncured pastrami can all be purchased from behind the deli counter at the store.

These Old World Naturals products have been crafted with the consumers’ health in mind. The delicatessen classics are made from all-natural ingredients like 100 percent grass-fed and finished beef and 100 percent vegetarian-fed pork and poultry, with no added antibiotics or hormones, no artificial ingredients, and no added nitrites or nitrates.

At the launch party on Wednesday, attendees had the opportunity to try some of the new Old World Naturals products — including a slow-cooked uncured corned beef dinner made with all-natural, organic and biodynamic ingredients — prepared by local chef Dan Spitz.

This collection reflects the company’s mission to add a great-tasting, all-natural option to the deli counter that’s both good for the consumer and for the environment.

Old World Naturals proudly supports regenerative agriculture, an approach to food-growing and farming practices, that among other benefits, reverses climate change.

By supporting these practices, specifically by sourcing meats raised on a grass or forage-based diet for the entire life of the animal, Old World Naturals lives its commitment to provide delicious, healthful food to its consumers and to positively impact the environment by regenerating and revitalizing the soil necessary to produce highquality, nutrient-dense food.

“Our family has been making the finest delicatessen for four generations, and we have a deep respect for our heritage and classic recipes. We are breathing

new life and sustainable ideals into our old deli traditions geared towards today’s health-conscious and eco-conscious consumer,” said Seth Shuket, president of Old World Naturals, in a press release.

“What better place to launch Old World Naturals than in our own backyard at Healthy Living Market, a place that shares many of our same values around transparency and sustainability in our food system.”

Paul Hoffman, director of purchasing and retail sales at Healthy Living Market is also excited to partner with Old World Naturals on the launch of its new, all-natural deli line.

“With our expanded ingredient standards eliminating all artificial ingredients, and our continued commitment to responsible regional producers, Old World Naturals is a perfect partner,” he said in the release. “Our customers seek out the highest quality products to feed their families and expect that we will offer only the best, most healthful options in our store.

“The Old World Naturals deli collection fits that description.”
