BALLSTON SPA – Kwang Hee Strack, age 51, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at home with her beloved husband at her side. She was born on October 17, 1967 in Changsu-Kun, Korea, the daughter of Oh Choe and the late Ki Hyong. Kwang Hee worked in the manufacturing and service industries for many years. She had a gentle spirit and was loved by all who knew her. Kwang Hee was a quiet, soft spoken, gentle woman who loved the small everyday things in life, especially cooking and working in her garden. She had many dear friends and neighbors whom she treasured. She was loved by all who met her, and she will be greatly missed. Kwang Hee is survived by her beloved husband Pete Strack of 18 years; her mother Oh Pok Hyong; two step-daughters, Hyun Tran (Kevin) and Jennifer Hurst (Joseph); three brothers, Sang U Hyong, (Kyong Suk), Kwang U Hyong, Man U Hyong; two sisters, Kwang Chae Hyong, Kwang Suk Hyong; brothers-in-law, Michael (Penny), Martin (Amy), Patrick (Ann Marie); sisters-in-law; Mee Strack, Sandra Gehring, Karen James (Stephen), Cynthia Choy (Manuel); two granddaughters, Elizabeth & Emma Lee Hurst; and her two close friends, Kilnan Urban and Song Suk Brown and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the spring as well as the internment at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
