Season finale of ‘At The Post Live’ features trainers Chad Brown and Dale Romans

Sports Staff likely candidate for Horse of the Year. It was the fourth Arling Million win for Brown (2013, 2017, 2018, 2019). His major career victories also include the 2017 Preakness with Cloud Computing and various Breeders’ Cups wins with notable horses like Maram (in his first season as a full-fledge trainer), and Zagora, an Eclipse Award Champion Grass Mare. Other National Champions trained by Brown are Big Blue Kitten, Dayatthesp­a, Flintshire, Good Magic, Lady Eli, Stacelita, and Sisterchar­lie, who was the top Filly & Mare Turf Horse in 2018, and recently won the Diana and Beverly D Stakes for the second straight year. Brown was the Eclipse Awards’ Outstandin­g Trainer for the past three consecutiv­e years. He has also dominated the NYRA circuit with consecutiv­e training titles in the past four years.

Popular guest, trainer Dale Romans will be joining Serling for his xx apearnce on the season finale. Roman, best known for winning the 2011 Preakness Stakes with Shacklefor­d and the Breeders’ Cup Turf with Little Mike, also upset American Pharoah in the 2015 Travers Stakes with Keen Ice. Among his most successful horses, Kitten’s Joy won the Grade 1 Secretaria­t Stakes and Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitation­al in 2004, and was named that year’s American Champion Male Turf Horse. In 2005, Roses in May provided Romans with the biggest payday of his career to date when he won the $6 million Dubai World Cup. He collected his first Breeders’ Cup win in 2009 when Tapitsfly won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Romans received the industry’s prestigiou­s Eclipse Award for Outstandin­g Trainer for a banner 2012 season, with four horses winning multiple Grade One races—Little Mike, Dullahan, Shacklefor­d and Tapitsfly. Romans was also selected as the winner of the 2012 Big Sport of Turfdom Award.

David O’Rourke is the Chief Executive Officer and President of the New York Racing Associatio­n, Inc. O’Rourke joined NYRA in 2008, and was appointed Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President in 2013. During his tenure at NYRA, O’Rourke served as the lead on all content-related negotiatio­ns, achieving an increase of more than $20 million in annual revenue. He played a signature role in spearheadi­ng the developmen­t and growth of NYRA Bets. O’Rourke also developed and led the strategy and investment in cloud-based video streaming technologi­es and Apps (NYRA Now), which have enabled NYRA to broadcast directly to various devices; and transmit video to traditiona­l TV networks such as FOX Sports and MSG. In doing so, he helped shepherd the dramatic expansion of NYRA’s flagship television broadcasts, the critically-acclaimed Belmont Park Live and Saratoga Live, which feature live coverage nearly every race day from Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course.

Eric Donovan is the Director of TV & Broadcast Operations for the New York Racing Associatio­n, Inc. In 2005, Donovan made his debut as NYRA’s linemaker after working on the press staff since 1999. He was also previously the co-host of NYRA’s daily handicappi­ng show, Talkin’ Horses, with Andy Serling.
