Great Escape Resort to unveil new ride in 2020

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. >> A high-flying new ride is swinging into Six Flags Great Escape Resort in 2020.

The resort property recently announced its newest attraction, Adirondack Outlaw, slated to open next year.

This new open-air experience ride is expected to have guests catching maximum airtime and experiencing 360-degree rotations of heart-pounding excitement.

Adirondack Outlaw whips riders through the air at speeds of 50 miles per hour, as it swings 16-stories high over The Great Escape theme park.

“Six Flags is the industry leader in thrill ride innovations and recognized throughout the world for introducing groundbreaking new rides and attractions every year,” Six Flags Great Escape Resort president Rebecca Wood said in a press release. “Adirondack Outlaw is a revolutionary, new addition to our park that delivers an incredible experience for guests of all ages.”

The Great Escape also announced the start of 2020 Season Pass sales, with a special Flash Sale through Labor Day weekend featuring the best deal of the year: savings of more than 70% off of a 2020 Season Pass.

Now through Sept. 2, guests will receive a free upgrade to a Gold Season Pass with every pass purchased. Gold Season Passes include admission to The Great Escape and Hurricane Harbor, and any other Six Flags theme park, as well as free parking and special admission offers for friends.
