Three arrested after LSD found during traffic stop
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> Two Dundee residents and a juvenile were arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop in Saratoga Springs.
John J. Morrison, 23, and Jenelle M. Menio, 26, and an unidentified 16-year-old juvenile were arrested at 5 p.m. on Sept. 7 after State Police stopped their vehicle for speeding on South Broadway.
Upon investigation, the investigating trooper discerned the odor of marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle revealed that Morrison was in possesion of a quanitity of concentrated cannabis, marijuana, and LSD. His passengers Menio, and a juvenile were also found in possession of a quanitity of LSD.
All three were transported to State Police Saratoga for processing.
Morrison was charged with criminal possession of marijuana fourth degree, a misdemeanor, criminal possession of a controlled substance fourth degree, and
criminal possession of a controlled substance fifth degree, both felonies, and three 3 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree, a misdemeanor.
Both Menio and the 16-year-old juvenile were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance fourth degree, a felony.
All three were transported to SP Saratoga for processing.
Morrison and Menio were arraigned in Saratoga City Court and released on their own recognizance. They are due back in court on September 26.
The juvenile was issued a Family Court appearance ticket answerable on Sept. 10.
