Saratoga Springs Rotary Club names new board members
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club recently named its board of directors for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.
Under president Jim Frey, club officers are president-elect Susan Rhoades, past president Brian Carroll, secretary Dan Henderson, assistant secretary Daniel Klein, treasurer Nathan Towne, and assistant treasurer William Bergan.
Other board members include director Stephen Kyne, vice president of programs Lisa Miller and vice president of major projects Joyce Ure. Dennis Wilson will serve as sergeant-at-arms.
The Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs serves the community by providing funding for local organizations and youth scholarships, as well as through service-oriented events where the club’s members offer their time and labor to an organization.
The Rotary motto “Service Above Self” drives the club’s membership to do good things for the Saratoga Springs community as well as for communities around the world.
Each year the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club raises funds for its charitable and educational programs through our annual Home & Lifestyle Show at the City Center and other fundraising events.
Club members share a love of Saratoga and a strong desire to make it better for everyone who lives there.
Weekly meetings not only encourage camaraderie, but also provide opportunities to network with local business leaders and learn more about the community through a series of scheduled speakers.
The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club meets most Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. at Longfellow’s Restaurant. Visitors and potential new members are always welcomed.
