Area law firm celebrates grand opening
New local law firm DeAngelus Goralczyk PLLC recently celebrated its grand opening in the Spa City.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening event were held at DeAngelus Goralczyk PLLC’s 21 Division St. office in downtown Saratoga Springs.
Partners Jacqueline Goralczyk and Karen DeAngelus, along with attorneys at law Edward Hitti and Shari Chrimes, were joined by members of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and the Capital Region Chamber as well as Saratoga Springs Mayor Meg Kelly.
Prior to this celebration, DeAngelus Goralczyk PLLC was formed in April.
The firm practices law in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, cybersecurity and business formations.
“Both of us are attorneys who do real estate law locally, and we’ve been on the opposite side of many transactions. So we got to know each other that way,” DeAngelus explained on how the partnership was founded. “We both have a very similar philosophy about client services and how we do business, and so we felt that it was a good pairing.”
DeAngelus was a sole practitioner for almost a decade, and thought starting a firm was the next step to expand. “I found that person that I felt I could work well with, so we decided to do it,” she said.
Goralczyk, who previously worked at a different firm, thought partnering to start the firm was a good opportunity. “It was kind of a natural fit,” she said.
Looking ahead, DeAngelus and Goralczyk aim for continued expansion with DeAngelus Goralczyk PLLC. “We started off as the two of us and a paralegal, and we’ve grown immensely over just the past six months,” Goralczyk explained. In addition to the two founding attorneys, the firm now has two more attorneys at law and several support staff members.
“We are very excited about the opening of this office,” DeAngelus said during the ribbon cutting ceremony. “We are very excited to offer a new location for the convenience of our clients. We are also very excited to become a member of the Saratoga business community. It’s a wonderful, thriving community and we look forward to being part of it, and doing our part to help encourage other businesses to come here as well. I’m very excited about what the future holds here.”
Mayor Kelly congratulated DeAngelus Goralczyk PLLC on the expansion. “I want to thank you guys for choosing Saratoga Springs,” she said. “I am super excited to have women-owned businesses in the city.”
The law firm’s Saratoga Springs location, in Suite 204 of 21 Division St., is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Along with the new Saratoga Springs site, DeAngelus Goralczyk PLLC also has locations in Clifton Park and Schenectady, and offices in Delmar and Cambridge.
