Area trio charged in warrant search

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> On Dec. 16, at about 5 a.m., a search warrant was executed at 38 Vanderbilt Ave. in the City of Saratoga Springs.

The warrant was the result of an investigat­ion into the current occupants of an apartment there.

Seized during the warrant execution was a loaded 9mm Glock 17 handgun, a Cimarron 12 gauge shotgun, over $2000.00 U.S. currency, about eight grams of crack cocaine, and other drug parapherna­lia consistent with the illegal sale of narcotics.

Of note, police said the Glock was discovered to have been stolen during the course of a burglary elsewhere is Saratoga County several months ago.

Arrested were Deborah M. Willson, 41, of Saratoga Springs, Bernard Adams Jr., 42, and Aaron M. Wright, 26, bo†h of Schenectad­y.

All three were charged with the following offenses:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance third degree, with intent to sell; criminal possession of a controlled substance fourth degree; criminal possession of a weapon second degree: loaded firearm; criminal possession of stolen property fourth degree: all felonies and firearms; criminal possession of a weapon fourth degree: felon with a shotgun-a misdemeano­r.

Upon arraignmen­t, Willson was remanded on $25,000 cash/ $50,000 bond while both Adams and Wright were remanded without bail.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operation’s Team assisted at the scene with the warrant execution.
