To meet this need locally, the Saratoga chapter of Grants to You has offered workshops for 13 years and helped local agencies raise over $1.3 million for their projects. It will hold its next interactiv­e workshops for volunteers of nonprofits on the Skidmore campus on Friday February 21st, 2:30 4:30 and Saturday February 22nd, 9 - 4. Both sessions are required. The workshops will show participan­ts where to find grants, how to write an appealing applicatio­n and to make an effective budget for a project. INDOOR CRAFT & GARAGE SALE: The popular Elks Ladies Auxiliary Indoor Craft and Garage Sale will be held from 11-3 p.m. at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Club on Elks Lane. Admission is free with over 40 vendors; parking is great, bargains galore, and lunch, We offer household items, sports equipment, hand-made items, clothing, jewelry, party vendors, pet supplies, food treats, and just about anything you can imagine may be found here. New vendors are signing up every month. Snow or rain, the sales go on and it is a fun activity the entire family enjoys. Come browse, visit, eat, or just get out of the house with a friend.
