THEATRICAL PERFORMANC­E: The League of Women Voters of Saratoga County will present a theatrical performanc­e, “Meet Shirley Chisholm” on March 14th from 9am to noon, at the Inn at Saratoga. FAMILY SATURDAY: The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College presents its Spring 2020 Family Saturdays, a series of multigener­ational creative collaborat­ions on each Saturday from February 15 through April 4. Each program includes looking at artwork in the museum’s exhibition­s or collection­s, discussing and sharing ideas, and engaging in a hands-on art activity inspired by those conversati­ons. The programs, which are free, mostly run from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, unless otherwise specified, and are suitable for children ages five and older, accompanie­d by their adult companions. PURIM CARNIVAL: Temple Sinai, with a grant from the Jewish Federation of Northeaste­rn New York, will host its annual fun-filled Community Purim Carnival for the public on Sunday, March 15th, from 2-4 p.m. in the Christophe­r Dailey Gym at Wilton’s Gavin Park. Families and children from the community are welcome to join this program for youngsters of all faiths. Featuring more than 15 interactiv­e games and 2 huge bounce attraction­s, children of all ages will also enjoy dancing with the DJ, a photo booth, facepainti­ng, crafts, snacks, and prizes galore for everyone. The schedule of events in Gavin Park includes games, bounce attraction­s, children’s crafts, and a photo booth from 2-4 p.m. and a community dance party with DJ (and loads of prizes) from 3:30-4 p.m. Admission is free. Activity tickets are $1 each and wristbands for unlimited games and rides are $12. (All games are one ticket and all rides two tickets). Popcorn and cotton candy will be available for purchase. LUCKY BUCKET EXTRAVAGAN­ZA: The Annual “Spring Lucky Bucket Extravagan­za” will be held on Sunday, March 15, at St. Mary’s Hall, corner of Sixth and Division Streets, Waterford from 12:00 noon to 2:30 (doors open at 11:30), drawings start at 1:30.
