Saratoga Parks and Rec Cancels all Summer Recreation Camps: As events continue to evolve regarding the COVID-19 virus, the City of Saratoga Springs has decided to cancel the Recreation Department current schedule of summer camps and other summer programs. Any participant who is registered for camp and/or a program will receive a full refund. The Recreation Center and ice rinks will remain closed until further notice. The Recreation parks will remain OPEN to the public, but no organized activities will be scheduled, and fields will not be scheduled until further notice. Playground equipment, basketball courts and all other recreation equipment will remain closed. If you plan to use a park, please follow all NYS and CDC recommendations regarding COVID-19. All programming and facility rental questions shall be directed to the Recreation Department at recreservations@saratogasprings.org.
Saratoga Recreation & Weibel Avenue Ice Rink: All currently registered programs are canceled. Online registration for Spring Soccer, Bowling, Rec Talks, and Spring Intro to Ice Skating is still open but we will continue to monitor the situation. Registration for all for Camp Saradac and Summer Camps and Programs has begun. Visit SaratogaRec.com for online registration. Click on Programs for information and to download a summer brochure. The Weibel Avenue Ice Rink is closed for all rentals and programming.
Shenendehowa Summer Tennis Camp 2020:
The Shen summer tennis Camp will be offering sessions of tennis instruction for beg-intermediate and high school level players in the following format: 11-17 yrs. Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 9:30 am, High School Morning Session Monday through Thursday, 10:30 am to noon, High School Evening Group Monday through Thursday, 4 pm to 6 pm. Sessions run Monday through Thursday starting on July 29 and going until the week of July 27. Camps will be held at Shen East Tennis courts. Applications can be found at Shenet.org. Questions? Air Assault Passing Academy-held at La Salle Institute Football Stadium:
Running July 13-16 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the camp is open to players entering grades 7-12. Cost is $80.00. This is a no contact camp. Focusing on the fundamentals of the passing game. More information can be found at www.audinocamps.com. Audino Football Camps will abide by all CDC and state government recommendations. If we are unable to hold our camps, you will receive a 100% refund.
John Audino Youth Football Camp-held at La Salle Institute Football Stadium:
Running July 2024 from 6:30 to 9 pm, this camp is open to all position players entering grades 3-6. Cost is $100. A fundamental camp for the younger players. This camp is full contact. More information can be found at www. audinocamps.com. Audino Football Camps will abide by all CDC and state government recommendations. If we are unable to hold our camps, you will receive a 100% refund.
John Audino Modified and JV Football Camp-held at La Salle Institute Football Stadium:
Running from July 20-24 from 6:30 to 9 pm, this camp is open to all position players entering grades 7-10. Cost is $125. This is a skill camp for modified and JV players. This camp is full contact. If we are unable to hold our camps, you will receive a 100% refund.
