Saratoga County reports 51 active COVID-19 cases

To date, Saratoga County has reported 500 total COVID-19 cases.

Of those 500 cases, currently, 51 are listed as active with 434 recovered cases and a total of 16 deaths.

Officials note the deaths, recovered cases, and active cases, when added together, do not equal the total number of confirmed cases because one of the previously reported deaths happened out of the state, but was never counted as a confirmed case within the county.

Five residents are currently in the hospital. To date, 2,474 residents have been in isolation or quarantine.

Officials said a total of 13,491 residents have been tested for COVID-19 so far.

The highest age range in confirmed cases is between 50-59 years old. The highest age range for hospitaliz­ations is between 60-69 and the highest age range for deaths is between 70-79.

Clifton Park has 108 positive cases, with Halfmoon next at 75. Saratoga Springs follows with 56, Wilton has 38, followed by Moreau at 33 and Malta at 31. Mechanicvi­lle

and Milton are next with 19 positive cases apiece. Ballston has 18 positive cases and Northumber­land has 14.

Greenfield has 12 confirmed cases, with the town of Waterford having 13. The town of Corinth and Stillwater have 10 each. South Glens Falls has nine, Galway and Ballston Spa have seven each, followed by town of Saratoga (5), Schuylervi­lle (5), Round Lake (3), Charlton (2), Providence (2), village of Waterford (2), Hadley (1) and village of Corinth (1).
