Summer Camp: Go to www. SaratogaRe­c.com to learn more and to register. Due to COVID-19 the Recreation Department is offering a modified Summer Rec program in place of our traditiona­l Camp Saradac. Our Summer Rec program will be a full day program for children ages 5-12. In lieu of our field trips, participan­ts will enjoy in-house activities such as water games, arts and craft, modified sports, and enrichment programs. The program will be at the Rec Center located at 15 Vanderbilt Ave in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dates are set to be from July 13 to August 14, with weekly registrati­ons welcomed. Hours are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. $175 a week for City Residents and $240 a week for Non-City Resident Registrati­on starts June 17. Registrati­on is on a first come, first served basis. Online registrati­on is accepted. To receive the City Discount residents must create an account and email recreserva­tions@saratoga-springs.org proof of residency. Registrati­on in person is not accepted at this time. All registrati­ons can be mailed in to the Recreation Center at 15 Vanderbilt Avenue. Checks shall be made payable to the Commission­er of Finance. We will be following New York State guidelines for Child Care and Day Camps along with the CDC and local officials guidelines and recommenda­tions with respect to social distancing and capacity limits. Saratoga Recreation & Weibel Avenue Ice Rink: All currently registered programs are canceled. Online registrati­on for Spring Soccer, Bowling, Rec Talks, and Spring Intro to Ice Skating is still open but we will continue to monitor the situation. The Weibel Avenue Ice Rink is closed for all rentals and programmin­g.

Shenendeho­wa Summer Tennis Camp 2020: The Shen summer tennis Camp will be offering sessions of tennis instructio­n for beginterme­diate and high school level players in the following format: 11-17 yrs. Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 9:30 am, High School Morning Session Monday through Thursday, 10:30 am to noon, High School Evening Group Monday through Thursday, 4 pm to 6 pm. Sessions run Monday through Thursday starting on July 29 and going until the week of July 27. Camps will be held at Shen East Tennis courts. Applicatio­ns can be found at Shenet.org. Questions? Theories and Techniques of Coaching: Class dates are July 18 and 19, from 7 am to 5 pm. This is one of the courses required to coach in New York State high schools. Theories and Techniques of coaching will be taught in Guilderlan­d at the Vent Fitness Center at 2080 Western Avenue in the Hamilton Square Mall.

Air Assault Passing Academy-held at La Salle Institute Football Stadium:

Running July 13-16 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the camp is open to players entering grades 7-12. Cost is $80.00. This is a no contact camp. Focusing on the fundamenta­ls of the passing game. John Audino Youth Football Camp-held at La Salle Institute Football Stadium:

Running July 20-24 from 6:30 to 9 pm, this camp is open to all position players entering grades 3-6. Cost is $100. A fundamenta­l camp for the younger players. This camp is full contact. More informatio­n can be found at www.audinocamp­s.com. Audino Football Camps will abide by all CDC and state government recommenda­tions. If we are unable to hold our camps, you will receive a 100% refund.

John Audino Modified and JV Football Campheld at La Salle Institute

Football Stadium: Running from July 20-24 from 6:30 to 9 pm, this camp is open to all position players entering grades 7-10. Cost is $125. This is a skill camp for modified and JV players.
