Wesley Community hosting virtual job fair July 8
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » The Wesley Community will host a Virtual Job Fair on July 8 for individuals interested in entering its New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program at the senior living campus.
The Virtual Job Fair will be conducted via Zoom video conference from 9 to 11 a.m. Individuals interested in participating should contact The Wesley Community in advance at (518) 2520414 or visit www.thewesleycommunity.org/careers.
“The Wesley Community is looking for dedicated and compassionate candidates to work with seniors who need health care services and other quality of life assistance at the Wesley Health Care Center,” said J. Brian Nealon, CEO of The Wesley Community. “Our paid certified nursing assistant training program is the ideal opportunity for any individual looking to make the transition into the healthcare profession. Not only will each candidate receive comprehensive training and state certification, but they will also be rewarded with immediate employment opportunities and comprehensive benefits while helping the numerous seniors utilizing our services on campus.”
Selected candidates will participate in a paid training class, which consists of both classroom and clinical hours, starting July 27. Successful candidates must attend all six weeks of training. Upon completion of the training program, all candidates will be offered part-time or full-time employment opportunities for day, evening or night shifts at the Wesley Health Care Center.
The Wesley Community will also host a second Virtual Job Fair on Tuesday, July 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. for those interested in the CNA training program and other skilled nursing positions including: Graduate Practical Nurses; Licensed Practical
Nurses; Registered Nurses; Registered Nurses Supervisor; and Registered Nurses Unit Coordinator.
The Wesley Health Care Center provides quality nursing care for aging adults and seniors through a variety of different services including: long-term care; light care geriatrics; Alzheimer’s and memory support; and a shortterm rehabilitation program.
