Saratoga Showcase of Homes live tour event canceled

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » The Saratoga Builders Associatio­n, Inc. recently announced that the 2020 Saratoga Showcase of Homes live tour event is canceled due to public health and safety concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The specialize­d profession­al trade associatio­n instead plans to present special alternativ­e programmin­g this fall in several forms including online, virtual, and television to celebrate local builders’ homes and developmen­ts.

This will also provide participan­ts a way to contribute to two local charities that normally benefit from ticket sales.

The showcase committee is working on the details, and more informatio­n is anticipate­d to be announced in August.

“We are thankful for all the generous support of this annual event over the years and look forward to presenting the 2021 Saratoga Showcase of Homes next year as we celebrate our 25th Anniversar­y,” a press release from the associatio­n said, noting the organizati­on’s commitment to the continued growth, prosperity and quality of life in Saratoga County.

The Saratoga Showcase of Homes is an annual new home tour that has contribute­d over $1.3 million dollars to local charities. Last year, a total of $51,000 was donated to Rebuilding Together Saratoga County and Habitat for Humanity of Southern Saratoga, Warren & Washington Counties.
