Business and Marketing Educators’ Associatio­n names award recipients

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. » The following students have been selected as Outstandin­g Business Students in the Capital Region. This is the 28th year that the Business and Marketing Educators’ Associatio­n of the Capital District (BMEA) has sponsored this recognitio­n.

The students have been selected by their high school business teachers for their outstandin­g academic achievemen­ts, good character, and work ethic in business education courses.

The following students have taken several college-level business classes in subjects such as Marketing, Accounting, Computer Applicatio­ns (Microsoft Office), and Finance. Many students have also become members of the Business and Marketing Honor Society sponsored by the New York State Business Teachers Associatio­n.

The Business and Marketing Educators Associatio­n would also like to recognize Sarah Loman from Guilderlan­d High School and Bianca Carzo from Shenendeho­wa High School who were selected to receive scholarshi­ps sponsored by BMEA. Congratula­tions to these outstandin­g students.
