modified Summer Camp: Go to www.SaratogaRec.com to learn more and to register. Due to COVID-19 the Recreation Department is offering a modified Summer Rec program in place of our traditional Camp Saradac. Our Summer Rec program will be a full day program for children ages 5-12. In lieu of our field trips, participants will enjoy in-house activities such as water games, arts and craft, modified sports, and enrichment programs. The program will be at the Rec Center located at 15 Vanderbilt Ave in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dates are set to be from July 13 to August 14, with weekly registrations welcomed. Hours are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. $175 a week for City Residents and $240 a week for Non-City Resident
All Skills Baseball Camp: The Sports Barn / Hayner Academy will be conducting three weeks of all-skills baseball camps this summer July 27 – Aug. 31, Aug. 3 – 7 and Aug. 17-21 at the Halfmoon Town Park from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Baseball Catching Camp: The Sports Barn / Hayner Academy will be conducting a Late Summer Baseball Catching School with Norm Hayner for players transitioning to the bigger field on August 10 and 12 for ages 10-12 (9:00am – 10:15am on Field #2) and ages 12-14 (10:30am-11:45pm on Field #1) at the Halfmoon Town Park. All Sports Camp: The Sports Barn / Hayner Academy will be conducting its All Sports (Phys. Ed.) camp August 10-14 for ages 8-12 at its recreation center in Halfmoon. The camp is 9:00am - 12:00pm and will be under the direction of Jessica Hayner, P.E. teacher at Loudonville Christian School. Weibel Avenue Ice Rink: All currently registered programs are canceled. Online registration for Spring Soccer, Bowling, Rec Talks, and Spring Intro to Ice Skating is still open but we will continue to monitor the situation.
